Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is the primary international airport serving the Las Vegas Valley. It was formally known as McCarran International Airport.

The airport is a 15-minute drive (4.5 miles) from the host hotel, The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino,

which is located at 4000 W Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89103

There is no general free shuttle service at Las Vegas's Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) for all travelers.

The cheapest way to get from the Las Vegas airport to the Strip is by taking the RTC public bus, specifically the Centennial Express (CX) bus, which costs around $6 for a 24-hour pass.

Another budget-friendly option is a shared shuttle service. Ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft and taxis could be more expensive.

• Route: The Centennial Express (CX) bus stops on the Strip at Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. 

• Pros: The most economical option, it provides direct access to the central Strip area. 

• Cons: The journey takes about 20-30 minutes, and you'll need to walk from the bus stop to your specific hotel, which might be a longer walk for some destinations.

Shared Shuttle Services

• Cost: Around $6 to $10 per person. 

• More convenient than the bus but cheaper than a private ride-share. 

• These are not free shuttles and involve making multiple stops to drop off other passengers, which can significantly lengthen your travel time.

• Cost: Taxis are often more expensive and start at $15-$20, with rideshares costing around $26. 

• Pros: A quick and direct way to get to your hotel.

During off-peak hours, Uber fares are often lower than taxi fares, making it a cost-effective option for budget-conscious travelers. However, if you're traveling during a busy time, Uber's surge pricing can cause fares to exceed those of a taxi.
